Donkey kong country returns wii iso 13

The game takes place in Donkey Kong Island, which has been taken over by the Kremlings when the evil King K. Rool steals all of the island's Golden Bananas. The game is an adventure platformer in which players control Donkey Kong and his animal friends who must recover the lost bananas and defeat King K. Rool and his minions. What comes to your mind when you picture a donkey? Anyone of us will picture a donkey as a small scruffy creature with long hair, big ears, a short tail, and four legs... or if they are really smart, a long snout and large eyes. Well this is Donkey Kong Country. This is the clever and cleverly named Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Wii. A remake of the original "Donkey Kong Country" (the SNES game) and its follow-up "Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Quest," this game has retained some of the old strengths while aiming to fix some of its flaws. The graphics have been re-rendered in HD while new areas and elements have been added; this includes revamped all-new gameplay (with more skills) and classic levels from past games recreated for this new entry (such as DK's treehouse). The game does not bear the "Donkey Kong" name, but rather "Donkey Kong Country." This is because it is considered a direct sequel to the SNES game "Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!". Those looking for the original Donkey Kong will have to wait for his return in "New Super Mario Bros. Wii". The story is pretty much the same as every other iteration of this series, with K. Rool stealing all of the bananas on Donkey Kong Island and DK having to pursue him with his animal friends. The graphics are very crisp and the gameplay is very fluid whether you are using Wii Remote + Nunchuk control scheme or GameCube controller. There are some difficulty spikes, but nothing that veteran players can't handle. The game starts out with small challenges and ends with a boss battle and a very tough mini-boss battle. One of the biggest additions is that of hidden collectibles. You'll encounter K-O-N-G letters and puzzle pieces that must be collected in each stage to unlock new content such as music, concept art, and videos. This is where the challenge comes from as some of these items are tucked away in difficult areas or require some tricky timing to collect. There are a lot of new items to collect as well, including a grappling hook, a jet ski, a hovercraft, and many more. The levels from past games have been revamped. They use the same play-style as before with the addition of new outfits for your Kongs and their friends alike. There is also a widescreen option available as well as an easy mode for those who might want to cut the challenge short. New characters such as Funky Kong and Candy Kong have also been added and can be unlocked via level completion. eccc085e13
